Gauze is a naturally soft fabric but when layered 9 times, it is strong and durable meaning that it will withstand multiple washes and still maintain its shape and softness. However, with any open-weave fabric, it will need to be cared for accordingly to minimise pulls which will occur over time or if it is caught on anything.
